Made Suraja Ubud Bali Artwork

Made Suraja, born & lives in Ubud on 12th April 1979. Raised by a Balinese grandfather artistic family, & grandfather was an architectural artist.   

As a teenager, art & painting were especially intriguing. Made says 

"MY neighbour painted, & every day I walked by his house before or after school. My first painting, I used as my sarong, used the brush from bamboo & my palette was from my father's trowel, that was my first tool."

In 1995, one of my paintings was purchased by foreign guests. After graduating from high school in 1995l, Made continued to study art.
